The Employee of the Year is selected from the year’s 12 Employees of the Month and exemplifies five values: compassion, excellence, integrity, innovation and teamwork.
Just a few descriptors that were repeated again and again are that CJ is a dedicated professional, a great communicator, well-dressed and all-around amazing! According to his co-workers, Evans is a joy to work with. He is personable and always has a smile for everyone. He is a team player and is committed to providing excellent service.
“CJ sets the example for Standards of Performance as he is dedicated, reliable and self-motivated,” stated Brandy Nunnery, Director of Facilities Services. She continued, “He communicates well and exhibits professionalism in his appearance and his demeanor.”
Evans is self-motivated and performs his work with integrity, always making patient safety a top priority. He ensures that bio-medical equipment is repaired and maintained quickly and correctly. One of his major contributions since joining TOBH has been raising the compliance level of our equipment.

“To be selected as The Outer Banks Hospital Employee of the Year is such a phenomenal experience. I remain honored and humbled to receive such a great reward.
