The Hands of Hope Program was created to ensure that no one walks the cancer journey alone. This very special group connects volunteers who assist with chores, errands, respite, pet care, and social outings. Both the nurse navigators and the Hands of Hope volunteer coordinator assist patients and their families with medical and personal support through the cancer journey. For more information about the Hands of Hope Program, call (252)-449-2314.
There are many areas to volunteer in, and providing transportation for patients to and from their appointments is a highly valued and much-needed service. Contact our volunteer director at (252)-449-4526 to see how you can get involved.
